What is the difference between CA and ACCA in reference to laws in Pakistan?
There are many similarities between the curriculums of CA and ACCA. The single most important difference between them is that CA is a local qualification, granted in Pakistan by ICAP, a professional body of Chartered Accountants, whereas ACCA is an international qualification or a global professional degree.
ICAP-CA qualifiers have more growth opportunities in Pakistan, because of ICAP's dominant position as an accountancy regulatory body there and the large influx of ACCAs in Pakistan's job market.
On the other hand, in countries that do not have any localized Accountancy qualification, CA is generally considered superior to ACCA, for example in Middle East countries, but in Western countries, CA is inferior to ACCA.
Could be easier for us if we have only one qualification and one accounting body in the whole world. But it is impossible to restructure or monopolize it now; everybody wants to be the one.

ACCA is Easier Because of the following Reasons:
- No assembly system in ACCA makes your life easier, you can choose 1 to 4 (maximum 4) number of sheets per session and need to get 50 marks in each sheet.
- From F1 to F9 50-60% of the exam you have multiple choice questions. Some people find it easier.
- You will get your results within 35 days. From F1 to F4 you can choose exams on your computer so you can get immediate results. It will help you plan better and avoid any time being wasted. This is not the case with Pakistan since you have to wait 2-3 months for your results.
- You will find more theoretical questions than solving the problem at level P. Some people find it easy.
- ACCA is more about the practical application of your knowledge of learning by heart. For example, in Corporate Reports (P2), you need to clarify whether the assumption and judgment used by the administration in the allowance account are correct or not instead of the final allocation number account.
